The sleek, sophisticated Kia Sorento
When the 2019 and 2018 Sorento go head-to-head, the most significant differences will be in the overall driving experience and options. One distinct difference is the 2019 Kia Sorento is standard with 7 seats while the 2018 model is available in 5- and 7-seat configurations. In addition, the Sorento loses the 240-hp, turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine for 2019 and the two remaining engines receive new transmissions. With these updates, the 2019 and 2018 are going to perform very differently on the road.
This brings up a very important question: "Which Kia Sorento model is right for you?" It really comes down to what you are looking for in a midsize crossover SUV. If you like having the option of a 5-row crossover, then the 2018 Sorento might be worth exploring. Perhaps you have your eye on a three-row model and want premium features, such as a wireless charging pad? In that case, the 2019 Sorento may be a better fit.
