The 2.5L 4-cylinder engine with 191 horsepower and 181 lb.-ft. of torque is the standard hardware that sits beneath the hood of the 2025 K5, but the GT trim level features a turbocharged version of this same powertrain. However, you’ll certainly notice the difference that the 290 horsepower and 311 lb.-ft. of torque can bring to your regular commutes in Washington Township. This sedan has the ability to use standard FWD or available AWD, but note that the latter option can’t be paired with the turbocharged powertrain of the GT edition. So, you’ll have to pick wisely when it comes to which option you prefer, but luckily, the standard Drive Mode Select with Normal, Sport, and My Drive settings will be provided regardless of your decision.
