The 2022 Kia K5 is a sedan that’s offered in LX, LXS, GT-Line, EX and GT trim levels. This sedan comes standard with a turbocharged, four-cylinder, 1.6-liter engine in most trims, though a turbocharged,  four-cylinder, 2.5-liter engine is available via the GT trim. The former engine produces 180 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque, while the latter outputs 290 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque.

In terms of changes for 2022, there are several factors that make the 2022 Kia K5 different from its 2021 predecessor. A new GT-Line AWD Premium package is available, adding a panoramic sunroof, heated steering wheel, LED projection headlights and additional driver assistance features. These driver aids include a Navigation-Based Smart Cruise Control-Curve system as well as a Highway Driving Assistance function.
